Department of Planning and Investment of Ben Tre province is assigned to provide advices to the Provincial People's Committee and undertake the state management of planning and investment sectors, consisting of programme and socio-economic development plan construction, putting forward the socio-economic management mechanism, domestic and foreign investment, management of foreign capital (ODA, NGO), bidding and procurement, business registration and some duties and responsibilities assigned by the Provincial People's Committee and under the law.
