DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

IPC Ben Tre has the following functions:

i)        Provide advices to the Provincial People’s Committee and Department of Planning and Investment to design and implement effectively the incentive policies regarding domestic and foreign investment and attraction; and undertake investment promotion programs of the province.

ii)      Research markets and provide information for small and medium-scale enterprises operating in the province.

iii)    Support enterprises in all activities before, within and after business registration.

iv) Provide consulting services for investors and enterprises in selecting investment projects, location of investment, business incentive and attraction sectors, business registration, consumption markets and so on according to the Law on Foreign Direct Investment in Vietnam, Enterprise Law and Investment Incentive Law of Vietnam.

IPC Ben Tre has the following duties:

Mobilize and promote investment capital resources within and outside the country
Support bilateral and multilateral donors to implement and manage effectively development projects in Ben Tre province.
Arrange and coordinate meetings between potential investors and local authorities, help investors understand investment environment and opportunities in the province.
Support investors and enterprises to apply for investment license and to register business.
Support for small and medium-scale enterprise (SMEs).
Provide consulting services in investment and development project design and management
Provide service in formulating and designing feasible studies, pre-feasible studies and business plans;
Organize investment promotion conferences and workshops;
Hold professional training courses for SMEs; and
Provide translation and interpretation services at the request.

IPC Ben Tre has broad working relations with all departments, organizations, the districts within the province to carry out the duties and tasks assigned.

IPC Ben Tre is allowed to contact directly with the donors, investors and enterprises to mobilize and promote investment for the province and help them to implement the projects and other activities in relation to production operation after investment license and business registration.
